Bereziartua, from the Basque Country, joins the 16th International Hall of Gala Ciders in Gijón/Xixón, Asturias, from 24 to 27 September 2026.
Bereziartua joins the international line-up at SISGA 2026, bringing cider makers and professionals from different cider cultures together in Asturias.
The Bereziartua family has made cider since 1870, with the fourth generation now running the cidery. It produces Basque natural cider, including Euskal Sagardoa made exclusively from native Basque apples, and maintains the txotx tradition at its Astigarraga cider house. Its registration is listed as “Remote”. Participation introduces this work through the tastings, professional activities and public outreach in the SISGA programme.
