Founded in 1994, its owner tries to bring a bit of his “beloved homeland” to the Balearic Island.
LA SIDRA.- Located in Santa Eulalia’s marina, this cider bar and grillhouse has become a reference of the Asturian cuisine in Ibiza.
Its owner, the peculiar Juan Tarrazo, offers a 25-euro menu per person, which includes chorizo stuffed buns as an appetizer, followed by a starter which consists of a smoked salmon, caramelized goat’s cheese, nuts, endives and apple salad with a homemade apple vinaigrette dressing.
Then, his most celebrated dish is served: cachopo (two breaded steaks stuffed with cured ham and cheese), fries and Padron green peppers. And, to finish, a homemade dessert: Asturian cheese cream flavoured with blueberries and coffee. The menu also includes two cider bottles or a Rioja wine bottle.
Apart from this fantastic menu, there are some other outstanding dishes such as their Asturian charcoal-grilled meats and cheese and patè platters.
Likewise, this year they have decided to celebrate their II Cachopo Sessions, due to the great success achieved in the last edition.
Regarding cider, Juan is clear: his parents are from Tineo, so La Llarada is the cidermill chosen to taste his dishes.

He is the ambassador of the Asturian cider at the main international cider fairs, and manager of the international delegations of the International Hall of Gala Ciders (IHGC).
