Abuls, from Latvia, joins the 16th International Hall of Gala Ciders in Gijón/Xixón, Asturias, from 24 to 27 September 2026.
Abuls joins the international line-up at SISGA 2026, bringing cider makers and professionals from different cider cultures together in Asturias.
Abuls grew from experiments with local apples begun in 2000 and has operated as a craft cidery near Smiltene since 2018. It combines local varieties with white-wine methods, hops, wild berries and natural fermentation. Its registration is listed as “Remote”. Participation introduces this work through the tastings, professional activities and public outreach in the SISGA programme.
