La Mirla Sidrera, from La Palma, Canary Islands, is taking part in the 16th International Hall of Gala Ciders, held in Gijón/Xixón, Asturias, from 24 to 27 September 2026.
La Mirla Sidrera joins the international line-up of SISGA 2026, the gathering that brings cider makers and professionals from different cider-producing regions to Asturias. Its participation broadens the geographical and productive diversity of an event devoted to quality cider.
Castro & Magán makes La Mirla cider in Tijarafe with apples grown in northern La Palma; its natural sparkling cider undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle. The registration lists its participation as “In person”. Its presence at SISGA will bring the producer’s work into the tastings, professional activities and public outreach included in the event schedule.
