Destillerie Farthofer, from Austria, joins the 16th International Hall of Gala Ciders in Gijón/Xixón, Asturias, from 24 to 27 September 2026.
Destillerie Farthofer joins the international line-up at SISGA 2026, bringing cider makers and professionals from different cider cultures together in Asturias.
Destillerie Farthofer is a family business in the Mostviertel with more than 150 years of history. It has worked to organic standards since 2003 and controls the chain from 55 hectares of certified crops through distillation and bottling; its Mostelleria places the region’s pears at the heart of part of its range. Its registration is listed as “Remote”. Participation introduces this work through the tastings, professional activities and public outreach in the SISGA programme.
