A year of new cider products

This year different ciders have emerged fighting to make their way in the food and drink national and international market, brands which show not only a high level in quality, but also in creativity and innovation.

LA SIDRA.- Asturian cider is reaching new market segments by creating products characterized for their high quality levels.

Over the last years, much has been said about the necessity for cidermills to make their way in the national and international food and drink market, with innovative proposals which show the steadiness of such an important Asturian industry.

Cidermakers, not without effort, have taken up the baton. Their commitment and perseverance is clear; and it must be said that they are doing a good job by taking significant steps to place their products in the market.

It is not a surprise. Most of our cidermakers know about the importante of tradition, good making and raw materials, but they also dare to start new brands making clear that I+D+I (Investigation + Development + Innovation) is essential in their companies.

This year new ciders have come out trying to find a place in the Asturian market and abroad. These are some examples:
