The Olympic Peninsula Cider Route

Located on the north of Washington, the route allows the visitors to experience the flavours of the peninsula.

LA SIDRA.- The Olympic Peninsula is the large arm of land in western Washington that lies across Puget Sound from Seattle and it contains many of the last unexplored places in the United States.

There you can find a route that invites everyone to visit their cideries and experience the wild beauty of the landscape and the diversity of their ciders.

A pleasant ferry ride and and one hour drive from Seattle takes visitors to the beginning of the Cider Route and lead them through fields, forests and farms.

Each of the three cideries offers the opportunity to experience the hard cider revival ocurring around the world by visiting orchads and tasting rooms to try the contemporary and traditional cider styles.

The cideries, Alpenfire, Eaglemount and Finnriver, are within 10 miles of each other, so you can visit the route in one afternoon, or make a wonderful excursion to the Port Townsend area.

They also hold a special event starting this weekend to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day. It is called the Red Wine, Cider and Chocolate Tour and will go on the following weekend, February 17th to 19th., at nine Olympic Peninsula wineries and cideries.
