THE CIDER.- The IV tasting of Homemade Cider from the Council of Carreño will take place on August 4 from 12:00 to 14:30 in the Perlora Sports Center, Barrio La Pedrera. 22 exhibitors participate in it, twenty of which belong to cider of the council that make cider and that day they give it to taste for free. The only requirement to participate in the tasting is to acquire the glass with the logo of the edition.
This year the Association of Homemade Cider from Candamo and Sidra Peñón will be the guests. It should be noted that Peñón is the cider company of the council and will have an exhibitor as a collaborator. It is also a sponsor of the impression of the cider glasses of this non-profit association initiative.
Among the many activities highlights the III Exhibition of functional elements of cider mills of an ancient nature with the exhibition of more than 8 pieces of marked antiquity and ceded for the occasion by citizens of the council. For the little ones there will be a workshop for making apple juice and games.
