This semi-sweet cider is made with spices like clove and cardamom and an orange peel addition. The Salem-based cidery also likes to add rosemary and sage into their Bog cider and smoked nutmeg with cherry in the Cherry Dive.
– Chai Me A River by Newtopia Cyder.
This newly-opened cidery from San Diego is making progressive cider styles like this tribute to fall where chrysanthemum, chamomile and cinnamon blend with the apple base for a smooth, chai-inspired finish.
– The Spice Merchant by Noble Hard Cider.
The Asheville Cidery uses cardamom, cinnamon and clove upon semi-sweet apple base. It also showcases organic, locally-sourced chai tea from AppalaChai just outside of Asheville.
– Chaider by Schilling Cider.
The cidery based in Auburn collaborates with Dragonfly Chai, Portland’s organic tea microbrewery and it is one of the top winter seasonals available until December. You can also get cocktail recipes for the Chaider on their webpage.
– Vanilla Chai by Nine Pin Cider.
This Albany cidery loves exploring many different ingredients to add to their ciders. This one is aged on vanilla beans and infused with chai from Short and Stout Tea Co.
