The contest, free to participate, is organized by the Asturies XXI Foundation, with the support of Sidra JR and the collaboration of the Asemeyando photography association and the magazine LA SIDRA
LA SIDRA.- The 2024 edition of the LA SIDRA International Photography Contest has just been announced. It should be noted that this contest is the only one held on cider in the entire State and that this year it will be its sixteenth edition.
It must be taken into account that:
Registration is free.
The theme of the contest is cider, apples or any of their derivatives.
The photographs may only be presented by their own authors, and may present a maximum of 5 works.
All essentially photographic genres and procedures are admitted. On the other hand, infographics will be admitted to the competition.
Images that represent the process of making and consuming cider in any aspect both inside and outside Asturies will be valued.

Deadlines :
Publication of the bases: January 2024.
Reception of works: until September 2, 2024.
Publication of the jury’s ruling: September 12, 2024.
Awards ceremony: September 26, 2024
The prizes are:
Winning image, €700 in cash, CEF gold medal
Second prize awarded with €200 in cash, CEF silver medal,
Second prize awarded with €100 in cash, CEF bronze medal,
Special mention “JR Sidra” endowed with 100 euros and two boxes of JR cider (to be picked up at the winery by the winner)
