LA SIDRA.- Just over a week before the start of the XIII International Hall of Gala Ciders (September 28th to October 1st), it is confirmed that the Main Tastings to be held on the afternoon of September 28th, will be given by:
Celestino Vázquez – cidermaker of Panizales – renowned for the variety and quality of its ciders and for its continuous commitment to exploring the possibilities of cider in all its possible expressions, and which will showcase not only its products, but also the philosophy of his cider mill.
Regina Mª Pereira, Senior Technician of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Government of Madeira, Portugal, who will announce the PGI ‘Madeira Cider’, approved this month of August, and will present the cider from the 5 Madeiran cider mills that participate in this XIII SISGA.
After these two spectacular Main Tastings, the XIII SISGA will continue with a visit to the Isidra Club facilities, where will take place a true cider-gastronomic experience: “Taste of cider mill’, a sensorial proposal that aims to get the feelings of the cider mills to the table.
Anzu Fernández is the International Delegate of LA SIDRA and the Asturies XXI Foundation, apart of coordinator of the translations.
He is the ambassador of the Asturian cider at the main international cider fairs, and manager of the international delegations of the International Hall of Gala Ciders (IHGC).
