LA SIDRA.- The firm UK Brewery Tours launches 3-cider-stops walking tours this season.
The first tour started yesterday, with all the tickets sold out, and there will be new sessions on 2nd December, 2017 and 13th January, 2018.
The participants joined their guide in Bermondsey, London, to be taken on a cider tasting journey. They could sample the best of the capital’s cider establishments whilst learning about what goes into making this unique and wonderful drink.
The tour started at the Draft House, just a short walk away from Tower Bridge, where the participants got an introduction to cider accompanied with a drink to get going.
Then, they moved to London’s first urban cidery, Hawkes Cidery, on Druid Street, to learn about the cider making process, with tastings throughout the visit.
Eventually, they finished up at New Forest Cider House, nestled inside Borough Market for some delicious cheese and cider sampling to round off the day.
