LA SIDRA.- Next Tuesday, September 25, at the Casa de la Palmera in Xixón, the presentation of the International Hall of Gala Ciders will take place -SISGA’18-. In the press conference will explain all the details of the meeting. Speakers: Jesus Martinez Salvador, Councilor for Tourism, Sports, Youth and Celebrations of Xixón; Carme Pérez, representative of the Asturies XXI Foundation – organizer of the event-; Jorge González-Palacios, manager of Divertia; and the cider makersFrancisco Ordóñez from Viuda de Angelón and Ricardo from Río de Paca y Tola, both awarded in the previous SISGA’17 with recognitions to the ‘Best sweet sparkling cider’ and ‘Best rose sparkling cider’, respectively.
The VIII SISGA edition will take place on September 28, 29 and 30. The Asturies XXI Foundation has designed a complete program of activities to promote and deepen into this drink, the details of each of them will be announced in the aforementioned presentation. To highlight the open day of tasting to the public that will be held on Saturday September 29 at the Colegiata San Juan Bautista and the Palace of Revillagigendo of Xixón from 12:00 to 21:00. All the producers will have different stands in which they will show and give their products as tastings. The entrance will cost 6 euros and with it a glass will be provided to taste the products presented, both national and international.
Anzu Fernández is the International Delegate of LA SIDRA and the Asturies XXI Foundation, apart of coordinator of the translations.
He is the ambassador of the Asturian cider at the main international cider fairs, and manager of the international delegations of the International Hall of Gala Ciders (IHGC).
