LA SIDRA in Alimentaria

A LA SIDRA’s delegation is since last Monday in Alimentaria, one of the mai  European alimentary fair, taking place in Barcelona.

THE CIDER.- With the aim of knowing first hand the evolution of the agroalimentary market and the last tendencies, especially regarding cider and derivatives as well as to cover its presence in this event, a LA SIDRA’s delegation is in this Fair in Barcelona.

On the Asturian side we can find the cider mills Trabanco and Riestra and at the “Principality’s” stand El Gaitero and Mayador with their own stands. Well located as wells there was the one from Asturies of Santillana, Somarroza at Cantabria’s stand and then from Basque Country the Association of Gipuzkoan Ciders and from Navarra, EVA.

Apart of it there is been made an important work in communication presenting our publication and the cider events we organize, especially the International Hall of Gala ciders (SISGA), whose projection for many of the exhibitors here is very relebant. Apart of it on Thursday there will be the presentation of the SISGA  in the Gala Dinner on the Novotel Restaurant Barcelona City, to be held in the facilities of the Asturian Center of Barcelona.

As usually the stand of the “Principality”, at the top of the right, besides the toilets, where noone came by unless the physiological needs demanded it. This “Principality” humiliates the Asturian producers located there, as well as Asturies.
