LA SIDRA’s and Fundación Asturies XXI,’s delegations participated in the Apfelwein Weltweit Tour and tonight will participate in the Gala Dinner and the Pomme d’Or awards.
THE CIDER.- The attention of the hosts and organizers of the Apfelwein Weltweit allowed the participant delegations in this event to know part of the relevant cider culture og Hessen with a visit to Schuch’s restaurant in Parunheim,. There we could taste the very creative cider and innovative cook. Likewise there was a visit to the cider mill and tasting of the original ciders they develop guided by the cider makers himself.
On the afternoon after visiting the old town part of Frankfurt, emperor’s cathedral and the historical Römer, there was a visti to the Apfelweinkontor, where many different ciders could be tasted and where there was the Asturian cider of Buznego.
Tonight will take place the Gala Dinne in the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof, during which there will be the Pomme d’Or Awards, that this year awarded three cider by Trabanco cider mill: Ávalon, Poma Áurea and Llagar de Camín.
