On next 30th, 31st of October and 2nd of November there will be the most international edition so far of the International Hall of Gala Ciders (SISGA). The Gala Dineer will take place in El Duque Restaurant, and the Open Tasting will have as scenario the uncomparable frame that the Culture Center Former Institute of Xixón offers.
THE CIDER. – Year after year the SISGA goes growing in international participants number, being in this edition cider makers from Sweden, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, Brittany, England… and maybe also Mexico.
An impressive progression especially if we take in account the situation of isolation by earth, sea and air that Xixón and Asturies in general suffer.
With difficulty could we explain the strange feeling that there is when we have to explain ways to get to Asturian from international departures, and lots of times is the Santander’s airport the second if not the first airport to Asturies.
Nonetheless SISGA goes forward, El Duque Restaurant will host the Gala Dinner. Once again we will be able to enjoy the best ciders with the best of the gastronomy. Besides this year the Open Tasting Day will take place at the Culture Center Former Institute of Xixón. A true luxury that will highlight the quality of the event, making easier the participantion of people interested.
